    The Vice President of Uganda, Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi launched the Long-Lasting Insecticide Mosquito Nets (LLIN) campaign for Central Region at Kyanamukaka Sub County in Masaka district. A total of 400,000 nets were distributed protecting approximately 1,600,000 people in the region

    The Ministry of Health has confirmed an outbreak of measles in Kampala and Wakiso district in a statement made by Acting General director of Health Services. 7 people have been confirmed to have contracted measles after tested were carried out and 67 other cases reported in the month of July
