Ebola Communication
We have all read the headlines: health facilities and Ebola Treatment Units (ETUs) are over-capacity, medical personnel are stretched thin, community members are panicked and confused. While additional ETUs are being built, efforts are now focusing on community care campaigns, which include kits that communities can use to care for loved ones that might be sick with Ebola. Join us and other health communication professionals here for a virtual discussion on Ebola health communication and specifically community care campaigns, beginning September 22, 2014. We will post new topics and questions each day for two weeks (September 22 – October 3), along with findings and information about Ebola health communication. But, we want to hear from you, too—what you’ve experienced and learned, what works best and what doesn’t.
